Serenity Point

Finally updated, your favorite cub reporter decided to go vintage and check out Serenity Point. Type "vintage" in your places search and its the first hit. This place is three sims of retro fun and I've only just started exploring it. It seems like there's something fun every step. I didn't even get a chance to ride the free scooters. Instead I got distracted jumping around on tires.


Then I saw the subway station so I had to pop down for a look around. I had to wait a bit for the train to come.

When it showed up it was a bit worn down but a fun ride. There's a lot of fun you can have on an empty train.
Eventually I found the drive-in theater. Its a lot of fun with plenty of vehicles provided for watching movies, cuddling and so forth. They've even got popcorn! I was just starting to explore the possibilities for a shoot when. . .
the owner of the sim walked in and told me they needed an in-house photographer. He liked the classic Bettie Page look and was willing to provide an apartment and a studio! Well what else could I do? I put together a quick portfolio of vintage cheesecake (and a few slightly naughtier ones for my fans. Here it is. Expect to see a lot more of Serenity Point and of me in the near future.

I do hope I see these pinned up in some lockers or I'm going to be disappointed. This is Professor Outlandish of Outlandish Photography Studio, Serenity Point, right above the Koduk camera store. Stop by for all your Vintage photography needs, especially if they're scandalous.

While its always difficult to pin down the philosophy of a diverse group, most Naturists will agree that they enjoy life more without clothing. Naturists apparently enjoy the sun on their skin and sharing it with family friends and pets. For some it's a lifestyle with deep philosophical foundations. For others it's a skinny dip in a friends hot tub. But for just about all, it's not about sex. Unless we're talking about Second Life.™ In our little virtual world we have to constantly remind residents that naturism and erections do not mix. Even the best of Naturist sites are seen as pick-up spots by many of the patrons. Maybe not the regulars who know each other, but for the casual visitors it's a meat market with fresh meat. It doesn't really help that lots of the sites that list "Naturism" or "Nudist" are at best ugly sex markets for the newbies that make the Lindens cringe when they're talked about in media (waves) I really thin...

Streak 500 update

Just to let you all know that I'm back to working on that 500 sim Streak. I'm sure I've already done that, but this time I'm documenting it. I suppose that they want to limit the number of peoples having sex in their store, but I tend to take these signs as a challenge. That's just wrong of me I know, but it's my nature.

In Search of Torley

Today I was assigned the task of tracking down the one and only Torley Linden. That's right the King of the SL tutorial, the Prince of Pink and Green, Mister Friendly Greetings! My first task was tracking down Mr. Linden's office. This is not as easy as you might presume, for though there are many wonderful searching aids in Second Life™, none of the doors at Governor Linden's Mansion are actually marked. Nudity is discouraged at the mansion, but that didn't deter me from my mission. Still, I had to be careful;  I've never gotten the impression that all Torley's cousin's were quite as friendly as he, so I was anxious not to get pinned down by the wrong Linden.
