Rezzable Unrezzed
Near as I can tell, the Greenies first landed in SL around July of 2007. For SL that's a really good run. How many places in the virtual world disappear within months of their creation? Or the Avatars you've met that you never see again?
The folks at Rezzable who built this truly awesome sim have over the years opened many other wilder places, but the Greenie's Home has always been my favorite. Slowly they have been moving their stuff over to OpenSim. I can't say I blame them, it's very expensive to maintain sims in SL, and OpenSim is about a fourth cost.
They will be having one last blow-out on June 23rd before it all disappears to another metaverse. That's not a lot of time to get here if you've never visited, but it's definitely worth the trip.

I hope the Greenies don't kidnap you and take you with them. They'll probably subject you to all kinds of probing.
